Walter graduated with degrees in Telecom Engineering and Computer Science, a combination that has proved to be exciting with the convergence of Telecommunications and Computing. The introduction of Digital telephone exchanges created a unique opportunities and he has held Senior Executive Telecom Management positions overseeing the introduction of digital networks and systems including the development of a long term strategy for all digital services.
Since migrating to Australia he has undertaken a number of consulting positions and as a Director of Communications Experts Group Pty Ltd he has led a number of projects that introduced leading edge technologies to provide cost effective business solutions. These have included developing both the Business cases and System designs for Electronic Court Systems, TeleHealth Networks, advanced radio networks, plant control systems and mobile base station products and services. He has implemented a number of successful VoIP networks, including IPTV solutions.
Walter is an Adjunct Professor at Murdoch University and is a Director of the Australian Telecommunication Users Group. He has made a number of submissions on Telecom Policy to both Federal and State Governments.
