Balconi are seeking 2 or 3 Engineering students for a 9 - 10 week period to assist with field tests in Western Australia. The tests are expected to be be conducted from late November to the third week of February 2012. Download More Information.

This document gives the sessions for all students undertaking presentations as part of the requirements for Engineering Project 402. All students are encouraged to attend.

Please note:

Students who believe they should be presenting but are not on the list should contact me as soon as possible.
Students whose project title has changed should email me the correct title ASAP.
Students who do not plan to give a presentation should contact me ASAP.

Further, please note:
You are expected to be present at the beginning of the session and remain for the full session.
Each session - morning and afternoon - is divided into two panels of four presentations each.
The chair of the assessing panel will give the order of speakers for that panel.
Any student not present or who arrives late will be deemed not to have attended the presentation.

I would just remind all students this is a professional presentation and presenters should look and act accordingly.

Students

If you are planning to enrol in Engineering Project 401 in semester 1, 2012 then you need to be doing something about organising a project now.
On this web site in the student section under "Project Home" you will find a detailed Guide to Projects. Please note the first chapter on how to select a project and the options open to you.
Changes are being proposed to the project units for 2012 and that will mean the earlier you select your project the better. Please also note that once you have agreed on a project with a supervisor, you will need to fill in a project registration form, you both need to sign it and then you need to submit a COPY of that to me. Any student who has not done so by the end of the first week of the first semester 2012 will have their enrolment in the project units cancelled.
